Terms of Service

This Regulamin (rules of service) sets out the terms on which Mercastra is provided, as required by Polish law for services provided electronically. Creating a Mercastra account means you accept these terms.

§1 Definitions

Service Provider - Mercastra, reachable at mail@mercastra.com. Service - Mercastra, the platform described below. User - a workshop with a Mercastra account. Customers are not Users: they have no Mercastra account and don't access the Service. Workshop - a User's profile through which they track and manage orders. Order - a workshop's own record of a commission it's carrying out for a customer, tracked internally by the workshop.

§2 Service Provider

Mercastra is provided by Mercastra, under Polish nierejestrowana działalność (unregistered business activity). Contact: mail@mercastra.com.

§3 What Mercastra does

Mercastra is a platform for workshops that make custom, one-off pieces to manage orders and build estimates. Mercastra doesn't host any communication between a workshop and its customers - workshops may export and share an estimate with a customer through their own channels, but that exchange happens outside Mercastra. Creating an account is currently free - Mercastra doesn't process payments or take a commission.

§4 Creating an account

To use Mercastra as a workshop, you register an account with your name, email address, and a password, and confirm your email address, or by signing in with your Google account, in which case Google confirms your email address for us. A contract for use of the Service is formed once your account is created. You need a reasonably current web browser and an internet connection - no other special technical requirements apply.

§5 Rights and obligations

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for the accuracy of what you enter - order details and estimates. You agree not to use Mercastra for anything unlawful or for content that infringes someone else's rights. We aim to keep the Service available and working correctly, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access - for example, during maintenance or an outage at one of our hosting providers.

§6 Withdrawal and cancellation

Your Mercastra account is free, and you can delete it at any time by contacting mail@mercastra.com - no notice period or cancellation fee applies. This Regulamin covers your account with Mercastra; it doesn't govern the commercial relationship, pricing, or any order between a workshop and its customer, which the two of them arrange directly.

§7 Complaints

If something about the Service isn't working as it should, email mail@mercastra.com with a description of the issue. We'll respond within 14 days.

§8 Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

§9 Changes to this Regulamin

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the version number and effective date above and, where the change affects you meaningfully, let existing users know directly.

§10 Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law.
